Travel Medicine Alliance Stage Race – Criterium, ITT, & Road Race
July 9, 2016
$30
1. As this is a multistage tour event TCC believe a 1 event race licence will be sufficient to cover all 3 stages. TCC have 10 licences available or you can purchase them online. Please let me know if you know someone interested prior to the event and I can add them to event-specific notifications.
2. TCC have only allocated racing for Juniors at the crit track on Saturday afternoon, due to CA policy they are unable to participate in the ITT and Road Race events on the Sunday.
3. If we have sufficient numbers we will be holding an over 50 category in place of D grade. All D grade riders are encouraged to race in C grade.
4. NO time trial bikes allowed, road bikes only but if you want to use disc wheels, aero helmets (Aus standards apply) etc that is acceptable.
5. There will be a points system for each race, as well as on Sunday those that help either marshal a corner or drive a support vehicle will gain extra points towards their overall placing. This is to encourage people to help out and may just give them an advantage in gaining a place on the podium.
6. We will have presentations directly following the last road race at Bunkers Hill school, then we will pack up and head back to the Glenvale crit track for a free sausage sizzle and drinks.
7. Toilet facilities will be accessible at Bunkers Hill State School, please treat the school property well so that they may continue to allow us access in the future.
8. Parking will be difficult at the start of the Time Trial course and as it is a residential area so please consider residents when arriving. Registration is at 7am so allow enough time on Sunday morning to park at the school where registration will be and then ride your bike up to Joalcon Court (3km in distance) in plenty of time for the TT start prior to 8am.
