Twilight Crit Series Update:

A Grade – Will Jared turn up? And if he does Trent and Daniel will have to perform something special to keep the clear winner of the last 2 races in check. Richard is an outsider but may yet surprise. Will the Brisbane lads reappear with revenge in mind, or have they been burnt by last week’s experience?

B Grade – Theoretically, of the 11 riders who have gained points in the series so far, any can win. That’s right folks, as long as the others don’t place even Yorky and Sharp Dog sitting on 4 pts can take the series, realistic folks I would put my money on Adam…or Max…or Ryan…even Matt. How close is it though! Noone has reached double figures yet with Adam 2 points ahead of the pack on 9 and without winning a race…yet. Mr Consistency has placed in all 3.

C Grade – This grade looks to be a 2 horse race. No pressure for Brad or Richard. Deservedly so these 2 riders have shown plenty of skill and fitness to be out in front. Pride will be on the line to take the last race of the series so I am sure they won’t get it so easy. Watch out for the young guns coming through such as Ashley, Declan, and Ben, all starting hit their straps. Or will it be the seasoned cyclists such as Ross, or will it be Cormac who has actually placed in the top 6 or better for all races so far.

D Grade –Calling all D graders. Don’t let Jacob win another 2 up race. Terry has tried valiantly to keep “Cob” in check but this strapping young lad has improved with every ride. Maybe a C grader could sneak in or are there a few of our more experienced riders could dust their bikes off and have a crack to keep this whippersnapper in check. Jacob has the series wrapped up but it would be great to see D grade again become the force of previous times.

Juniors – Rumour has it touch season is over. Look out Halli and Dylan, that means the return of the Sullivans and I hope a few others. GO KIDS!!
